Ancestry Library Edition - Genealogy resource the provides billions of records in census data, vital records, directories, photos, and more. Can only be accessed inside the Traphene Hickman Library.
Brainfuse HelpNow - Brainfuse offers homework help and test prep for students in grades K-12 and adult learners through HelpNow.
Brainfuse JobNow - Online job coaching and resume assistance are available through JobNow.
Family Search - Genealogical resource provided by the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Search through billions of ancestor profiles, photographs, and historical records. Can only be accessed inside the Traphene Hickman Library.
Fiero Code - Coding resource providing software and training you need to learn how to code and unlock new skills.
Hoopla - Streaming service offering audiobooks, ebooks, comics, movies, television, music, and BingePasses.
Libby - Reading app that offers ebooks and audiobooks.
Library Speakers Consortium - Library Speakers Consortium is a partnership of libraries bringing bestselling author talks to communities of all sizes. Access to the past 2 years worth of author talks is available for free!
Lightbox Learning- Media enhanced eBooks that engage, inspire, and motivate learners. Fiction and Non-Fiction titles available for grades PK-6th and homeschooling families. Each title has interactive lessons and videos for an array of subjects! Bi-lingual titles available as well.

TexShare Databases
The TexShare Databases provides access to an extensive collection of online databases offering authoritative, commercial free, full-text articles from subscription-only sources. The TexShare Databases provide information on topics such as health, business, biography and genealogy, literature, science and technology, as well as homework help for students.
To obtain the password and access these from home, contact the Library at 972-291-7323, ext. 1300. These databases are available exclusively to Texans as a service of the Texas State Library and Archives Commission and the Traphene Hickman Library.
Cedar Hill Museum of History
The Cedar Hill Museum of History was organized in 2006 by members of the Cedar Hill Historical Society, founded in 1978. The Museum is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and is governed by an Executive Board and a thirteen-member Board of Trustees comprised of community leaders. The mission of the Cedar Hill Museum is to collect, preserve and share the natural and cultural heritage of Cedar Hill by providing memorable and educational experiences consistent with our hometown spirit. The Museum envisions a museum that has a positive impact on our community, embraces our distinctive character, and enlightens through meaningful and engaging programs.
